"The Bucket List" # 1 Movie - First Time After Three Weeks In Theaters
at www.wildaboutmovies.com

This past weekend saw wide releases of not only brand new movies, including "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A Veggie Tales," a black comedy (literally), "First Sunday," and the long delayed "In The Name of the King" but also, finally, "The Bucket List," starring Oscar winners Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Our pick of the weekend - of all new wide releases - "The Bucket List." How can you go wrong with a film directed by Rob Reiner ("A Few Good Men," "Misery" and "Stand By Me"), that stars two of the world's best living actors? Yes, it's not a masterpiece, but it is 100 times better than all other new movies in theaters this weekend, combined. Oh! If you're wondering which movie WAM predicted to be #1 at the movie box office this weekend... it was "The Bucket List" And we were correct. "The Bucket List" is this past weekend's #1 movie at the box office, bringing in $19.5 million, with "First Sunday" not far behind, with $19 million. And "Juno," which, many of our more uninsightful competitors predicted would be #1, slid into third place with, a respectable $14 million. "In The Name of the King" was DOA, grabbing only $3 million. "Pirates" claimed #9, with a paltry $4 million.
