Get out of the way Mike Myers. Steve Carell is the new king of comedy. "Get Smart" opened in 3911 movie theaters and on nearly 7000 movie screens this weekend, taking in $40 million its first weekend in movie theaters. The Steve Carell comedy "Get Smart," based on the 1960s television situation comedy of the same name, also stars Anne Hathaway of "The Pricess Diaries" movies and "Brokeback Mountain." The movie also features Oscar winning actor Alan Arkin ("Little Miss Sunshine") and "The Rock," a proven movie box office champ.
