Four Christmases Poster

Christmas came early for Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon and funny man Vince Vaughn. Their family comedy "Four Christmases" took the #1 spot at the movie box office this Thanksgiving weekend. During its first five days in movie theaters - Wednesday through Sunday - "Four Christmases" grabbed in $46 million.

Last week's #1 movie "Twilight" dropped to #2, grabbing $39 million in the same time frame.

"Australia" and "Transporter 3" both failed to attract much attention at the movie box office. Each - in over 2500 movie theaters - took in a $20 million and $18.5 million, respectively, their first five days in movie theaters.

"Milk," on the other hand, in only 36 movie theaters, claimed the #10 spot at the movie box office. "Milk" has taken in a whopping $1.9 million its first five days in theaters.
