That being said, we bring you the list of the only four movies released since 1980, (through 2007), that not only won the Best Picture Oscar, but also were the #1 movie at the box office the year of their release. (We're counting on the fact that the #1 grossing movie at the "2007 Movie Box Office" - "Spiderman 3" - will not be getting a nomination for Best Picture, let alone the Best Picture Oscar.
