"The Misfortunates" - Gunther Strobbe, 13, lives with his father and three uncles at his grandmother’s house. Every day he is faced with their drinking, fighting, and shameful laziness. Gunther must find a way to escape this misfortune or he will end up in the same situation as his derelict family. The movie "The Misfortunates" was Belgium's official entry to the 2010 Best Foregin Film Oscars race.
