The Movie facts: The first Ice Age earned $383.3 million worldwide in 2002. It was
followed in 2006 by Ice Age: The Meltdown, which collected $655.4
million. That was topped again by Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs' $884.8
million in 2009.
It's almost certain that this, the fourth in the Ice Age franchise, will grab a billion dollars or more, if not for the inflated 3D ticket prices, alone.
