The About face: A man (Guy Pearce) wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. is offered his freedom if he can rescue the president's daughter from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.

The Wild side: Set in the future, the movie Lockout follows a falsely convicted ex-government agent (Guy Pearce), whose one chance at obtaining freedom lies in the dangerous mission of rescuing the President’s daughter (Maggie Grace) from rioting convicts at an outer space maximum security prison.

The Movie facts: Guy Pearce, who has been absent from any big screen box office successes for some time, appears in four major theatrical releases in 2012; Lockout, Prometheus, Seeking Justice and The Wettest County.

Famed sci-fi and action film director, Luc Besson, cowrote Lockout.
