The first big screen 2013 release was the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, starring Scott Eastwood, son of two-time Oscar winning director, Clint Eastwood.

Gangster Squad, starring Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn and Josh Brolin, among other notable recent Hollywood talent, was originally scheduled for a Fall 2012 theatrical releases, but was pushed back due to the Colorado movie theater shooting (summer 2012).

Aged and aging actor, a senior citizen, Arnold Swarzenegger, box office powerhouses of the 1980s, and Governor of California during the 2000s for eight years, headlines his first movie in more than a decade, The Last Stand.

And a new, R-rated take on the children's fairy tale Hansel & Gretel, replete with supernatural elements, arrives in theaters, starring Oscar nominee (not for Hansel & Gretel, of course), Jeremy Renner.
