Wild About Movies announced, in real time, on February 24, 2013, the 2013 Oscar winners, beginning at 8:30PM EST, right here on this page.

Below, Tim Nasson, publisher of Wild About Movies, predicted in late 2012 which movies and stars would be nominated for 2013 Oscars, and was virtually the only person in Hollywood to predict, correctly, that Ben Affleck would NOT receive a Best Director Oscar nomination. Check out his complete list of major 2013 Oscar nominees predictions below.

Probable 2013 Best Picture Oscar nominees, picked by Tim Nasson, publisher of Wild About Movies. Movies in BOLD are actual 2013 Oscar nominees.

Amour
Argo
Django Unchained
Les Miserables
Life Of Pi
Lincoln

Moonrise Kingdom
Skyfall
Silver Linings Playbook
Zero Dark Thirty

Probable 2013 Best Director Oscar nominees

Quentin Tarantino, Django Unchained
Steven Spielberg, Lincoln
Ang Lee, Life Of Pi

Tom Hooper, Les Miserables
Kathryn Bigelow, Zero Dark Thirty

The directors with the biggest chance at earning a 2013 Oscar nomination for Best Director - Steven Spielberg, Kathryn Bigelow, Ang Lee and Tom Hooper - have all won the Best Director Oscar before, with Steven Spielberg winning twice. If anyone is going to get knocked out, it will be Tom Hooper and our money is on Michael Haneke taking his spot for the foreign movie Amour.

Probable 2013 Best Actor Oscar nominees

Daniel Day Lewis, Lincoln
John Hawkes, The Sessions
Hugh Jackman, Les Miserables
Bradley Cooper, Silver Linings Playbook
(never count out the unexplainable power that Harvey Weinstein has over Oscar voters)
Jean-Louis Trintignant, Amour
LONG SHOT: Teenager Tom Holland, The Impossible, (which would knock Bradley Cooper - hopefully - out of the running)

Probable 2013 Best Actress Oscar nominees

Maggie Smith, Quartet
Jessica Chastain, Zero Dark Thirty
Emmanuelle Riva, Amour
Naomi Watts, The Impossible
Jennifer Lawrence, Silver Linings Playbook

Probable 2013 Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominees

Leonardo DiCaprio, Django Unchained
Tommy Lee Jones, Lincoln
Alan Arkin, Argo
Robert DeNiro, Silver Linings Playbook
Christoph Waltz, Django Unchained

Probable 2013 Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominees

Anne Hathaway, Les Miserables
Sally Field, Lincoln

Maggie Smith, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
Helen Hunt, The Sessions
Nicole Kidman, The Paperboy
