The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards is a collection of testimonies to the misconceived, miscalculated pursuit of happiness in contemporary America. The characters of this world struggle so tragically to distance themselves from their beginnings, they find themselves a long way from nowhere. This film is a collaboration with the students of the UCLA Graduate Film course taught by James Franco in 2013.
