Chris Pine and Reese Witherspoon headline the big screen adaptation of the beloved children’s book A Wrinkle In Time from author Madeleine L’Engle. The book was rejected 26 times before the New York company of Farrar, Straus bought it and published it in 1962.
The movie A Wrinkle In Time is directed by the overrated Ava DuVernay, who pulled the “It’s because I am black” card when she was not nominated for the Best Director Oscar for the dreadfully directed Selma.
In the sci-fi film A Wrinkle In Time, Meg, her brother, and her friend are sent to space in order to find their missing scientist father.
The film cost over $100 million to produce.
