Enter for your chance to win last night's Emmy Winner for BEST COMEDY SERIES, "The Office: Season 2" on DVD.

Keifer Sutherland Emmy Winner for 24Conan O'Brien, host of The 58th Annual Emmy Awards delivered right from the beginning, showing the world that it's OK, once again, to make airplane disaster jokes - just a few hours after a commuter plane crashed, killing 49 people in Kentucky. The opening skit (taped a couple of weeks ago) of this year's Emmy Awards was on par with, if not better than, any of the opening montages that Billy Crystal wrote and starred in during his reign as Oscar host. However, the first three Emmy Awards handed out last night were bestowed upon actors for their roles on shows that had been canceled: Meghan Mullally for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy, "Will & Grace;" Alan Alda for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama, "The West Wing;" and Blythe Danner (mother of Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow) for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama, "Huff." That was it for 'has-been' shows winning major awards. Although Steve Carell lost out to Tony Shaloub for Best Actor in a Comedy, it was "The Office" that took home the Emmy for Best Comedy Series. And Keifer Sutherland won the Best Actor in a Drama, while his "24" won the coveted Emmy for Best Drama Series.

This year's Emmys were awash in controversy. A change in judging procedures was intended to lead to a more diverse slate of nominees, given that in the past, the television awards have tended to be beholden to a handful of favorites. "Everybody Loves Raymond," "The West Wing" and "The Sopranos" dominated the Emmys for years. The results were mixed. Newcomer "Grey's Anatomy " and previously ignored "Two and a Half Men" picked up plenty of nominations this year, but "Lost," last year's best drama winner, wasn't even nominated this year, and "The Sopranos" leads - and perennial favorites - James Gandolfini and Edie Falco were shut out of the nominations, too.

In the show's opening montage, O'Brien wound up on the "Lost" island after a plane crash and was greeted by "Lost" star Jorge Garcia. O'Brien told Garcia he had to get to the Emmys and asked him to come with him - down the hatch. "We weren't exactly invited," Garcia said, sticking it to the Emmy nominators!
