"April 20-22, 2007 Movie Box Office"
"Disturbia" Retains #1 Spot
at www.wildaboutmovies.com

Disturbia Movie Poster

A gaggle of new movies opened in theaters this past weekend, but none could unseat Shia LaBeouf's Disturbia from the #1 spot. Disturbia becomes the fifth movie of 2007 to retain the #1 spot at the box office for a second consecutive weekend. The best any newcomer could do was #2. That honor went to the Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins thriller Fracture. At #3, another film that formerly took the #1 spot at the box office for its first two weekends, Blades of Glory, starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder. Vacancy, Hot Fuzz and In The Land of Women, all had to settle for lower spots in the Top 10.
