Rush Hour 3 Movie Poster

While Brett Ratner's "Rush Hour 3" debuted at #1, it was hardly the best debut of the summer for a threequel. In fact, it wasn't even the biggest opening for August. That honor went to last week's "The Bourne Ultimatum," which dropped to #2 this weekend.

The best debut of the weekend? "2 Days In Paris," written and directed and starring Julie Delpy (of "Before Sunrise" and "Before Sunset" fame). Over $18,000 per screen, in limited release.

Worst debut? "Skinwalkers." It will undoubtedly be on DVD in September. Another in a long line of bombs from Lionsgate.

Which movie next weekend, "Superbad" or Nicole Kidman's "The Invasion," if either will steal "Rush Hour 3's" thunder?
