date Feb 12, 2007 1:26 PM

Good afternoon,

I wanted to see if you would be interested in giving away tickets for the ZODIAC on February 27 in all of our markets.

Please let me know.

Thanks so much!

So? Big deal. Wild About Movies (and publisher Tim Nasson, before WAM was launched) has been solicted by movie studio publicists, nationwide, for more than a decade, to help and/or completely fill their Free Advance Movie Screenings! And you, our 100,000+ WAM readers, nationwide, have helped every major studio fill seats at Free Advance Movie Screenings for years!

However, read the nonsensical, ridiculous C&D letter that Wild About Movies received from the Paramount Pictures Legal Department, who were so completely misinformed by the newly hijacked Paramount staff, (read: Dreamworks employees) that they were under the assumption that the promotional screenings posted on WAM were fraudulent. CLICK HERE TO READ THE COMPLETE LETTER!

* Any loyal friend and true of Wild About Movies, especially those in the Phoenix, Boston and Southeastern and Southwestern areas of the United States, know that whenever a Paramount movie is to be released, chances are they have a lock on free passes to Advance Screenings - dating back to the first week that WildAboutMovies.com was launched, with the Free Advance Movie Screening of "How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days," up to the most recent, Eddie Murphy's "Norbit."

It seems that the incompetents at Paramount, the Dreamworks transplants, need a lot more transplanting. Perhaps a brain transplant - or transplant to another planet. Instead of telling the lawyer to shove it, I just responded with the email posted at the top of this page, which came from one of the many regional Paramount publicists who had invited me to help fill ALL of their "Zodiac" Free Advance Movie Screenings. And also informed Miss Lawyer that I had helped fill more than two dozen "Norbit" Free Advance Movie Screenings the week before, and about three hundred others the months and years before that for Paramount, nationwide. (See - "Freedom Writers," "Charlotte's Web," "Dreamgirls," "Flags of Our Fathers" and "World Trade Center" Free Advance Movie Screenings sponsored by WAM, to name just a few- which thousands of WAM readers helped fill, nationwide!)

So, what's going on now?

* EDITOR'S NOTE: See date of CEASE & DESIST letter from Paramount Goon! And see date of email solicitation from Paramount Publicist.

Also, the main reason we bring you this report is to inform you that your Free Advance Movie Screening Access to Paramount Pictures, something that you have enjoyed for years, is in jeopardy. We get Thank You letters by the bucket load from limited income readers, who without WAM and Paramount Free Movie Screenings, would never get to take their kids - or themselves - to the movies. SHAME ON PARAMOUNT! (Imagine how many empty Screenings of "Norbit" there would have been without your asses in the seats!) E-mail all of the guilty. Michael Vollman. Christine Batista. Colleen McKee and Judy Kim. with your pithy comments!
