"October 5-7, 2007 Movie Box Office"
"The Game Plan" #1 Movie Of Weekend - Second Weekend In A Row
at www.wildaboutmovies.com

Game Plan

"Walt Disney's The Game Plan" benched Paramount's "The Heartbreak Kid." All bets, except ours, were on the Ben Stiller comedy ruling the box office for the weekend. But audiences had some taste, two weekends in a row, thanks to The Rock.

Other new fare in theaters suffered just as badly: "The Seeker" bombed - big time. A Walden Media/Fox collaboration. Probably their last. Jennifer Lopez's nonsensical urban crap filled musical, "Feel The Noise," also suffered at the box office.

In limited release, only fifteen theaters, George Clooney's "Michael Clayton" cleaned up. And "Into The Wild," in more theaters than it has ever been, 135, (100 more than last week), averaged nearly $10,000 per location. The documentaty "For The Bible Tells Me So," about the clash between homosexuals and Christians earned a lot of dough, while the abortion doc "Lake Of Fire," fizzled.
