Dallas-Movie-Poster

"Dallas The Movie," the big screen remake of the popular CBS drama "Dallas" that ran for thirteen seasons - from 1978 to 1991 - about J.R. Ewing, head of the most powerful energy company in the world and the patriarch of a Texas oil clan who are as shady in their business deals as they are in the family politics, finally has a director; former "Hill Street Blues" star and "Doctor Dolittle," "Brady Bunch The Movie" and "Private Parts" director, Betty Thomas.

"Dallas The Movie," now starring Ben Stiller, (since John Travolta was given the axe, and allegedly over $5,000,000 in hush money, to go quietly), is now categorized as a comedy, not a drama, as it was originally intended for the big screen.

STARRING: Ben Stiller
DIRECTOR: Betty Thomas
STUDIO: 20th Century Fox
RATING: PG-13 (Sexual suggestiveness, language, comedic violence)
