"Dark Blue Almost Black" is a movie about love and hate between friends and family. Jorge is living as concierge of an appartment building, while also taking care of his handicapped father. When Jorge's girlfriend Natalia finally returns from her study abroad, his brother Antonio, who is in jail, asks him to make his girlfriend Paula pregnant. In the meanwhile, Jorge's best friend, Israel, finds out his father might be homosexual and starts questioning his own sexual preferences.
