Tripp (Matthew McConaughey interview with Wild About Movies) has never been able to leave the nest. He's always had some reason or other, but now, his desperate parents - Kathy Bates and Terry Bradshaw - have had enough. They hire the gorgeous and talented girl of his dreams (Sarah Jessica Parker interview with Wild About Movies) to get him to move out of the house. "Failure to Launch" debuted at #1 at the North American box office, beating "Madea's Family Reunion," which had been the #1 movie in theaters two weeks in a row.
