"Harry Potter 7: Part 1" - The "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" story is the seventh and final of the Harry Potter novels - but not movies - written by British author J. K. Rowling.

The book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was released on 21 July 2007, ending the series that began in 1997 with the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

This book - "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" - chronicles the events directly following "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince," and leads to the long-awaited final confrontation between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.

Because of the length of the final book - "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" - Warner Bros. decided to break the final installment into two movies - "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1;" in movie theaters November 19, 2010 - and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2;" in movie theaters, worldwide, day and date, July 15, 2011.
