"In Bruges" - This darkly comic suspense thriller from Academy Award-winning writer/director Martin McDonagh tells the story of hit men Ray and Ken (Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson). After a botched job in London, the team is ordered by their boss Harry (two-time Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes) to cool their heels in the storybook city of Bruges, Belgium. Very much out of their comfort zones, the men find themselves drawn into increasingly dangerous entanglements with locals, tourists, and a film shoot. As their stay in Bruges gets weirder, they realize Harry may have other plans for them than a simple vacation. "In Bruges" makes its debut at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.

I'll never forget the morning I interviewed Colin Farrell in Los Angeles, for the dreadful movie "Alexander." He walked into the interview room holding a half full goblet of red wine. He was tanked at 10:00AM. He left the nearly empty goblet on the table in front of me as he left the room, after the interview was completed, and I, of course, proceeded to drink from the cup of Farrell. I even packed it away in my suitcase, hoping to save it forever, in the hopes that with a mix of his DNA and mine, somewhere down the line a Farrell/Nasson baby could be artificially created. Sadly, the very thin and expensive goblet, though packed very nicely, so I thought, in layer upon layer of tissue paper, broke into a million little pieces (yes, this story is very true, no lie, as there are five living witnesses who watched as I drank the remaining ounce of wine from the Goblet of Farrell), as I found out when I went to unravel the priceless goblet upon my return to Boston. Well, allegedly, but doubtfully, Colin Farrell has slowed down on his early morning boozing. But what is a fact is that his new movie, coming out February 8, 2008, "In Bruges", is a must see - for all Colin Farrell fans - Tim Nasson
