The movie "The Last Sin Eater," is based on the award winning novel of the same name by Francine Rivers - "Last Sin Eater."

Some "The Last Sin Eater" movie trivia: Louise Fletcher won the Best Actress Oscar in 1976 for "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest." Henry Thomas, of course, starred as Elliot in "E.T. The Extra Terrestrial." And Michael Landon Jr., the director of "The Last Sin Eater," is the son of the late actor/producer Michael Landon ("Bonanza" and "Little House on the Prairie," "Highway To Heaven.")
