"Planet 51" - In Movie Theaters November 20, 2009

"Planet 51" - The movie "Planet 51" is the second animated film of 2009 to feature a numeral in its title. The first, "9" (in movie theaters 9-9-09).

The inhabitants of "Planet 51" live in fear of alien invasion. Their paranoia is realized when an astronaut arrives from Earth. Befriended by a young resident, he has to avoid capture in order to recover his spaceship and try to return home.

The movie "Planet 51" was originally a New Line release. It was dumped by WB and Sony picked it up. The fact that the movie "Planet 51" has three, inexperienced foreign directors doesn't bode well.
