The Pursuit Of Happyness
First Look
Will Smith earns his second Best Actor Oscar nomination for "The Pursuit of Happyness." Six years ago, Smith was first nominated, for "Ali." The little boy you see in the poster below is Smith's real life son, who also plays his son in the film.

It's all in the family. At least in Columbia Pictures' "The Pursuit of Happyness." Chris Gardner (Will Smith) is a bright and talented, but marginally employed salesman. Struggling to make ends meet, Gardner finds himself and his five-year-old son evicted from their San Francisco apartment with nowhere to go. When Gardner lands an internship at a prestigious stock brokerage firm, he and his son endure many hardships, including living in shelters, in pursuit of his dream of a better life for the two of them.
How is it all in the family, you ask? Simple! The boy who plays Will Smith's son in the movie, is his real-life son, Jaden.
There is not, however, any explanation for the ebonics spelling of the title of the film. (We'll reveal it to you when/if we find out.)
Oh! And it's true. Will Smith is Oscar worthy for his performance in "The Pursuit of Happyness."
STARRING: Will Smith, Thandie Newton, Jaden Smith
DIRECTOR: Gabriele Muccino
STUDIO: Columbia Pictures
RATING: PG-13
Wild About Movies Grade: C
While Will Smith's performance is Oscar worthy, the movie, on its own, is cliche to the max!
