"Wedding Daze"
First Look
Direct To DVD January 15, 2008

Wedding Daze Movie Poster

It seems, at least at some studios, the powers that be will let just about anyone take a stab a directing a movie. Michael Ian Black? Please. The studio behind "Wedding Daze," MGM, obviously has no faith in their film. It was released in Europe this past June, to dreadful reviews, and the film's official website, (see below), claims "Wedding Daze" will be hitting theaters, stateside, in August 2007. To date, however, MGM has yet to confirm a release for their film, "Wedding Daze." Nor have they provided anyone with a U.S. version of the "Wedding Daze" poster.

"WEDDING DAZE"

Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher Star In

Michael Ian Black’s Directorial Debut

Laugh-Out-Loud Comedy Premieres On DVD January 15

"Wedding Daze" - Two complete strangers find themselves engaged in the riotous comedy "Wedding Daze" premiering on DVD January 15 from MGM Home Entertainment. Starring Jason Biggs (American Pie) and Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers), Wedding Daze is funnyman Michael Ian Black’s (Reno 911!: Miami) feature film directorial debut. This hilarious edgy comedy follows Anderson (Biggs) who makes an impromptu proposal to a neurotic coffee shop waitress named Katie (Fisher) after suddenly losing “the perfect girlfriend.” With unexpected plot twists, this absurdly funny film features a terrific ensemble cast including Michael Weston (The Last Kiss, The Dukes Of Hazzard), Joe Pantoliano (The Matrix, “The Sopranos”), Joanna Gleason (“The West Wing,” “Bette”) and Edward Herrmann (“The Gilmore Girls,” I Think I Love My Wife). The DVD features new bonus material including several deleted and alternate scenes. "Wedding Daze" will be available for the suggested retail price of $26.98 U.S. / $37.98 Canada.

MGM Home Entertainment will support the release of "Wedding Daze" with a targeted multi-million dollar marketing campaign including national TV and cable advertising, online and grassroots promotions, plus an extensive publicity campaign. (Hmmm. They'll most likely end up spending millions more on marketing than the movie will earn on DVD. But then, of course, they can just write the whole thing entirely off.)

"Wedding Daze" DVD SPECIAL FEATURES

The "Wedding Daze" DVD release will be presented on a flipper disc featuring both widescreen (1.85:1 aspect ration) and full screen versions in English Dolby Surround 5.1 audio with English, French and Spanish subtitles. DVD bonus features include:

Deleted and Alternate Scenes

Dancer (Alternate Opening)

Heart Explode
