2007 has proven to be a year with nary enough movies to fill a Best 10 List (see tomorrow's Wild About Movies homepage for our Top 10 Movies List). But the stinkers have surely taken the cake this year - at the movies. (For the complete list of all 2007 Movies, over 300 movies released in theaters during 2007, click here). Picking the worst of the worst, we had to divide the worst movies into three separate categories; Worst 10 Movies of 2007 - That You Hoped & Thought Would Be Great. Worst 10 Movies of 2007 - That You Knew Would Suck Before You Saw The First Movie Trailer. And Limited Releases of 2007 Worthy of Their Own Worst 10 List. Also, the worst studio publicity and marketing team of 2007.

Who ever thought that a movie starring Tom Cruise, 2-time Oscar winning actress Meryl Streep, and starring and directed by Oscar winning director Robert Redford, would take in LESS than $15 million at the box office during its entire theatrical run? "Lions For Lambs" isn't just the worst movie of 2007, it goes to show, that even though a lot of moviegoers waste their money at trashy movies, they can see a propaganda movie as clear as day, and in so doing, embarass the alleged closet homosexual, Tom Cruise - who produced the movie - even more so than having married that creature, Katie Holmes, and allegedly having a baby, produced by his sperm, (doubtful), with her.

Tom Cruise has pushed back the release of his next film "Valkyrie," four months. Originall scheduled for a June 2008 release, "Valkryie" now will be released in October 2008. Everyone has already forgotten about "Lions For Lambs" - so if Tom Cruise can stay out of the limelight and stop having pretend babies with kooky women who allegedly sold themselves to him as a beard, he might be able to make a big screen comeback.

Robert Redford need not fret. He's over 70 and has his Sundance Film Festival. And Meryl Streep? Well, she is Meryl Streep and will undoubtedly receive an Oscar nomination in 2009 for her role in the Summer 2008 adaptation: "Mamma Mia The Movie".

Worst Movie Studio of 2007 - Incompetent Marketing & Publicity Deptartment Heads

Paramount Pictures

Since the Dreamworks regime hijacked Paramount publicity over 2 years ago, things have been Flushed Away, literally. All the great publicists, sans one, remain. The head of Paramount Publicity, Michael Vollman, will surely get his walking papers, two years too late, when, as if what we predict proves to be true happens - "Sweeney Todd The Movie" fails to receive a Best Picture Oscar nomination. He was given a pass last year when "Dreamgirls," another Paramount musical, not only failed to win the Best Picture Oscar, but didn't even get a Best Picture nomination; something virtually EVERYONE in Hollywood, except Wild About Movies, bet their first child's life on.
