Rambo 4 Poster

The month of January - in the movie world - is usually reserved for stinkers that studios figured were so bad they didn't even warrant an August release, (the second worst month of each year for quality movie releases). January 2008, however, has a chance to prove everyone wrong with a string of movies that are box office winners - just like, we hope, The New England Patriots will be, come Super Bowl Sunday 2008. While most "2008 Oscar Candidates," movies such as "Sweeney Todd," "The Great Debaters," "Juno" and "There Will Be Blood" are just finding a wide release, the first OFFICIAL 2008 movie releases will be giving them a run for their money. Most notably: "Rambo 4," "Cloverfield" and the Jack Black comedy "Be Kind, Rewind." Perhaps even the Diane Lane thriller "Untraceable" will steal some of "Rambo's" thunder.
