“Trumbo” is a unique, star-studded film about little known (by most, today) but Oscar winning screenwriter Dalton Trumbo and his journey from Hollywood royalty to blacklisted writer to Oscar winner. Set against he backdrop of tremendous political unrest, audiences are given a first hand, emotional account of how this turmoil affected one of Hollywood’s most prolific writers.

Based on the stageplay “Trumbo,” by his son Christopher, the movie “Trumbo” features brilliant readings of some of “Trumbo’s” extraordinary letters read by an A-list cast. interlaced with period and contemporary interviews, and video shot by friends and family of Dalton Trumbo.
