In this 2016 version of Ben Hur, a falsely accused nobleman survives years of slavery to take vengeance on his best friend who betrayed him.

The original 1959 Ben Hur cleaned up at the Oscars, sweeping them, winning 11. We’re betting that this one does not.

While Jack Huston, who plays Ben Hur in this go round, is a great actor, he is no Charlton Heston.

And the director of this Ben Hur, Timur Bekmambetov, is definitely no William Wyler. Don’t expect ANY Oscar nominations for this film, or for the film to earn very much money at the box office.

And what’s up with Morgan Freeman’s horrible wig in this movie?

This remake of Ben Hur quite possibly could be the most unnecessary and worst remake in the history of motion pictures.
