From Steven Spielberg and Walt Disney Pictures comes a live action, big screen version of The BFG, (based on the story of the same name by Roald Dahl).
It tells the tale of a young girl, the Queen of England and a benevolent giant known as the BFG, who set out on an adventure to capture the evil, man-eating giants who have been invading the human world.
Melissa Mathison, who wrote the screenplay for the movie E.T., (and the former Mrs. Harrison Ford), wrote the screenplay for The BFG. She passed away in the fall of 2015.
There was an animated, straight to VHS movie version of the movie in 1989.
