The movie Clue (2021) is a remake of the 1985 film of the same name which was based on the popular board game. Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Lesley Ann Warren, Michael McKean and Colleen Camp star in the original Clue.
Three different endings exist for the original movie, each with a different person being the killer. In theaters, only one of the endings was shown. Television and home video versions include all of the endings. The DVD version allows viewers to watch the original “A”, “B”, and “C” endings by themselves (chosen randomly by the DVD player), or to watch the three endings spliced together.
In both films, six guests are anonymously invited to a strange mansion for dinner, but after their host is killed, they must cooperate with the staff to identify the murderer as the bodies pile up.
Ryan Reynolds headlines the 2021 remake.
The original Clue cost $15 million to produce and took in only $14,643,997 at the box office. Disney now owns the rights to all Fox films, including Clue.
