Eternals Release Date: November 5, 2021

Oscar winner Angelina Jolie (Girl, Interrupted) joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in Eternals, a Gods vs. Gods movie.

In the film Eternals Jolie plays Thena. Richard Madden costars as Ikaris. Salma Hayek is Ajak, Brian Tyree Henry is Phastos, Don Lee is Gilgamesh, Lauren Ridloff is Makkari, Kumail Nanjiani is Kingo Sunen, and Lia McHugh is Sprite. Gemma Chan also stars in the movie.

This is the first Marvel film to get a female director, Chloe Zhao. She is best known for directing the 2018 award winning movie The Rider.

Originally scheduled for release on November 6, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new, tentative, release date is February 12, 2021 November 5, 2021.
