Jurassic World 3 (with the official title Jurassic World: Dominion) is the sixth movie in the Jurassic Park big screen franchise, and the third in the series reboot, which began in 2015 with Jurassic World.
The Jurassic World 3 story is being kept zipped up, but the writers of the film, Emily Carmichael and Colin Trevorrow are working from a story concocted by Trevorrow and writer partner Derek Connolly.
Carmichael co-wrote Pacific Rim: Uprising and most recently rewrote The Black Hole remake for Disney and director Joseph Kosinski. She came to Steven Spielberg’s attention when she set up the family action-adventure Powerhouse at Amblin.
Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill return to reprise their roles from the original 1993 Jurassic Park film.
Originally scheduled for release on June 11, 2021, the film’s production was halted due to Wuhan coronavirus. Its new, tentative, release date is June 10, 2022.
