2014 Golden Globe Winners indicated with BOLD.
Curiously missing from the list of 2014 Golden Globe Nominees – Martin Scorsese,Best DirectorThe Wolf Of Wall Street. And a Best Screenplay nominationThe Wolf Of Wall Street, an award it will most likely win at the 2014 Oscars.
The Wolf Of Wall Street was nominated for Best Picture, albeit for a comedy (even though it is far from one) proving once again that the Golden Globe committee, made up of a bunch of less than zeros alleging to writefor foreign publications can be bribed by movie studios to votefor certain movies, performances and directors.
How can they not be bribed when the studios are the sole source of their breakfasts, lunches and dinnersfor months, beginning in September? Yes, the movie studios cater to the HFPA and cater their meals at the posh Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills almost every day – in private suites – for the threemonths leading up to the Golden Globe Nominations – and thena full month leading up to the winners being announced.
Most importantly, the Hollywood Foreign Press Ass. nominate the boldest faced names for their awards (not necessarily the best in each acting, movie, TV, director or writing category), ensuring that viewers will tune in to the broadcast on NBC, which is produced by Dick Clark Productions and rakes in tens of millions of dollars a year from advertising.
Based on that info, below are the nomineesthe 2014 Golden Gobe Awards – and 2014 Golden Globe winners in BOLD.
