MTV And Emma Watson Go Off The Deep End

May 7, 2017

To say that MTV And Emma Watson Go Off The Deep End is an understatement.

MTV has been irrelevant for more than a decade. Trying to drum up publicity for their failing cable channels they dumped the categories featuring sexes from their barely watched 2017 MTV Movie Awards show the other night, an awards show that has zero relevance or clout in Hollywood and the world.

Instead of Best Actress and Best Actor, Emma Watson, The Beauty and the Beast actress accepted the Best Actor in a Movie award at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which happens to be the first-ever genderless acting award to be presented on MTV’s Movie Awards.

Emma Watson — a nutjob feminist who has spent a lot of her time promoting gender equality — made sure to thank MTV for taking such a giant step forward.

“I feel I have to say something about the award itself,” she began. “The first acting award in history that doesn’t separate nominees based on their sex says something about how we perceive the human experience. MTV’s move to create a genderless award for acting will mean something different to everyone. But to me, it indicates that acting is about the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. And that doesn’t need to be separated into two different categories.”

There is nothing wrong with promoting male and female equality. But to simply try to pretend that there is only one sex, which is what these Bat-Sh!t crazy people at MTV and Emma Watson are trying to do – and what a lot of Hollywood are doing, promoting an alternative reality – is beyond insane. It is literally a sign of impending doom for Hollywood.

If anything, MTV did a disservice to both men and women by getting rid of the gender acting categories. Now there are five or six less nominees, with only one acting awards category.
