Aquaman 2 is a sequel to the billion dollar movie Aquaman, which was released in 2018. The sequel, like its predecessor, features Jason Momoa in the starring role.
Aquaman is Arthur Curry, the human-born heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, who goes on a quest to prevent a war between the worlds of ocean and land.
The Aquaman films are based on DC Comic Books of the same name.
The first film was released in theaters on December 21, 2018 and took in over $350 million in the United States. Worldwide, it has amassed over $1 billion from theaters.
