Embassy Theater Waltham is permanently closed due to the owner of the building breaking multiple laws, including federal laws.
From 2023-2024, the time frame that Tim Nasson reopened the theater, until it closed, Embassy Theater Waltham was the highest grossing independently owned movie theater in New England. The Taste of Things, Inside Out 2, The Holdovers and Maestro had some of the highest grosses from any theater in North America at Embassy Theater Waltham. Concession Sales were also the highest at any independently owned movie theater in New England that didn’t serve alcohol.
Stay tuned for the upcoming expose that is being published in one of Boston’s, and the nation’s, largest media outlets. It seems as if Boston Rhythmic, which took over four of the six screens will be permanently closed, as well, once the owner of the building is found guilty of many crimes; civil, local and federal.
This is breaking news in the Boston area. Do Stay Tuned.
