Above & Below Photos: "Equus" features some extremely physically demanding roles, especially for Will Kemp (star dancer of Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake) who has to carry Radcliffe around the stage as the principal horse, Nugget.

Daniel Radcliffe has signed on for the last two Harry Potter movies, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and Part 2"
It was announced on April 8, 2008, that Daniel Radcliffe would be stripping again, this time for US audiences, in NYC, ON BROADWAY, at the Broadhurst Theater, beginning September 5, 2008 and continuing through at least the last day of February 2009. CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS!
"Harry Potter," Daniel Radcliffe, that is, has grown up. A series of publicity photos for the revival of the play Equus showing 17-year-old Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe nude has angered parents in England, where the play is to be performed beginning later this month. And from the photos, it appears Daniel Radcliffe has been working out with a personal trainer for hours each day. Can we expect a full on sex scene in the final "Harry Potter?"

In addition, it doesn't seem coincidental that the 'revealing' photos were released the same day the announcement was made that the final "Harry Potter" novel, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," will be released on July 21, 2007. Already, after just one day on the pre-order Amazon.com list, "Harry Potter" is #1 and is selling at a rate more than three times faster than the sixth "Harry Potter" book.
Alan Strang (Daniel Radcliffe) seems a normal, obedient 17-year old with a passion for horses. Then one night he blinds six horses with a hoof pick. What drove him to it? His life seems routine, his family loving, his pursuits harmless and yet he has been placed under psychiatric surveillance - an unresponsive patient who is woken each night by terrible nightmares. Only psychiatrist Martin Dysart (Richard Griffiths) seems able to grasp the answer to this psychological puzzle.
The multi-award winning actor Richard Griffiths, who recently won a 2006 Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway production of “The History Boys,”stars alongside Daniel Radcliffe, best known for playing "Harry Potter" in all of the feature films based on JK Rowling’s best-selling books, in the first major new production of “EQUUS” since 1973.

“EQUUS” opened at the Gielgud Theatre on Tuesday 27 February 2007, following previews from 16 February. Richard Griffiths stars as ‘Martin Dysart’ and Daniel Radcliffe, making his legitimate West End stage debut, stars as ‘Alan Strang’.
“EQUUS”, with a fourteen-strong cast, is directed by Thea Sharrock and designed by the play’s original designer John Napier.
“EQUUS” has lighting by David Hersey, movement by Scarlett Mackmin and sound by Greg Clarke. Peter Shaffer’s classic play “EQUUS” originally opened at the National Theatre in 1973, before transferring to the West End and Broadway for record-breaking runs.
“EQUUS”, which won the 1975 Tony Award for ‘Best Play’, was made into a film starring Richard Burton in 1977. “EQUUS” is produced by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers. Performance times at the Gielgud Theatre are Mondays-Saturdays at 7.30pm, with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Gielgud Theatre Box Office on 0870 950 0915 or online at www.equustheplay.com.
Tthe fifth "Harry Potter" film, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," was released in theaters 13 July 2007. Wild About Movies brings you the trailer and will interviews with the ever aging cast. "Harry Potter 6" hits theaters in 2008. Stay tuned for more about that film.
And now for the cherry on top of the whipped cream.
